Project Overview
A five-day gathering of researchers and public health leaders became the backdrop for this highlight video for the Climate Sensitive Infectious Disease (CSID) Network. Filmed as a solo-shooter project across Bangkok and Kanchanaburi, the piece distills dense scientific discussions, workshops and field activities into a concise, human-focused recap — capturing the energy of a network working to strengthen regional collaboration on climate-related infectious diseases.

Project Challenges
- Tight daily schedules required planning ahead to balance the right equipment.
- Many sessions took place in low-light venues.
- Large volume of interviews and conference content to manage and process.
Work Process
Prep
Before the conference, I met with the client online to walk through the agenda and understand the tone they wanted — relaxed, open, and centered on genuine connection. We aligned on a documentary-style approach with candid moments and natural conversations shaping the video.
On-Site
During the 5-day shoot, I focused on capturing the real energy of the Climate Sensitive Infectious Disease Network gathering — informal interactions, thoughtful discussions, and honest interviews. To keep guests comfortable, representatives from the client’s team led the interviews while I stayed behind the camera. I also kept spare cameras and an audio recorder running as needed to cover full sessions and key soundbites.
In the Edit
With a large volume of interviews, discussions, and event moments collected, the focus in post-production was shaping a clear narrative that reflected the spirit of the network: collaboration, openness, and shared purpose.
